Information for Career Counsellors and Teachers

Have you ever wondered about the opportunities and career paths that studying the Bachelor of Architectural Design can provide?

Design in the Bachelor of Architectural Design focuses on the way humans create places through architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, planning and property. This focus when practically applied can lead to a broad range of careers domestically and internationally.

Students are increasingly interested in degrees that lead to great careers, and our degrees are geared towards providing students with these opportunities.

  • Every student who enrols in the degree and continues into a Professional Masters programme will have the opportunity to undertake an Industry Internship, which gives them direct access to potential future employers.
  • All students will have the opportunity to undertake an international design education experience at one of our partner Universities overseas.
  • The School’s relationships with industry provide unique opportunities to work on special one-off projects, such as the Adelaide Oval 3D model project.

Our programme draws expertise from a wide range of disciplines. In addition to design, students who excel in the humanities, sciences, graphic design, writing and maths can utilise their skills in this broad ranging discipline.
